Indeed invites women developers to join the coding sprint. SheCodes, Indeed 2021 event gives women an opportunity to showcase their skills by solving real-world problems and win some cool prizes. The coding sprint is an online event and includes several open-ended problem statements related to Indeed business. You are expected to work individually and solve them. Winners will be chosen based on most questions with optimal solutions — put your problem-solving and coding skills to the test.

This year they’re excited to extend participation from female coders residing in India, Singapore and Japan.

Who Can Participate

  • Women residing in India, Singapore or Japan
  • Students who are graduating in 2021 and 2022

Skills Required to getting selected

Languages : Open to any programming languages supported by the Mercer | Mettl Platform

Resume : A resume or CV is the first thing that will reach your recruiter/employer.
Your resume should not exceed more than a page.
Your resume should mention your skills and projects (most important)
Never send resume in docx file. Always send your resume in pdf file format.
Your resume should have a clear focus on the job position that you are looking forward to.

Prepare for your exams through test series and learning material. (Edusera Recommended)
Improve your communication skills.
Maintain your LinkedIn Profile (Highly recommended)

Note

  • All candidates need to apply through the registration link. Candidates can register only once. Multiple registrations will lead to disqualification from the event.
  • The online assessment will start at 11th September 2021, 9:00 AM IST and ends at 13th September 2021, 9:0 AM IST. Results will be communicated via email on 15th September 2021.
  • Candidates should participate in the challenges from laptop/desktop
  • The languages that you write code in can be selected on the assessment platform, if applicable
  • All registration and assessment related issues are to be addressed at [email protected]
  • Students from engineering colleges from India, Singapore and Japan graduating in 2021 and 2022 can join the coding sprint.
  • The code will be tested against various testcases. Winners will be chosen based on most questions with optimal solutions.
  • You can change the coding language during the assessment. However the previous code entered can’t be retrieved and the candidate would have to rewrite the whole code again.
